From a simple decorative make-over to any size of renovation or re-build, we can assist in bringing your property dreams to life. As a client you can dictate the level of service you require.
Definitive Decor applies the elements and principals of design and interior styling fused with an innate flare for colour design. This creates not only stunning but truly harmonious spaces. No single component can do this; it is a fusion of all aspects of design.

03 the process
It is a 4 step process to your dream design
Step 1 - Initial Consultation
Your requirements are carefully recorded during a detailed one-to-one consultation. Your preferences, proposed use of space, the demography of the property's inhabitants, the property's aspect, age and unique features, your required mood and style, and more, are discussed and assist to form your unique brief against which designs are generated.
Step 2 - Design development
A suitable, effective, fully comprehensive and personalized design is produced in response to your brief.
Step 3 - Documentation
All relevant plans, specifications, schedules and samples are compiled in one comprehensive file that is yours to keep. This documentation enables trades to provide quotes and estimates for your project and has so much detail that they can then build/install from the documents too.
Step 4 - Installation
Time for the trades to do their stuff! Definitive Decor works alongside your selected trades people to see the design come to life. We are also there to carry out site resolution and place orders for product, fixtures, and fittings on suppliers as required.

Definitive Decor is a small business owned and operated by Nicola Byrne since 2005. All design work undertaken by Definitive Decor is carried out by Nicola; it is not contracted out to other stylists or designers.
Educated to degree level, Nicola has qualifications in Design, Interior Styling and Colour Design for which she was awarded an Award of Excellence at graduation. Nicola's previous employment in Logistics', Customer Service and Project Management add to the array of skills that she brings to your team.
Definitive Decor has a well established group of quality trades and installers on hand for advice and assistance and to see your project come to life, but is equally as comfortable working alongside your already selected team.
Nicola moved to Australia from the UK in 2000 and is based in the Inner West of Sydney.
